Getting to come home from grad school and spend time with my wonderful, wonderful family...there is no place like home and nothing better then spending time with the people you love<3

I really love everything about Christmas. The giving, the recieving, the sharing. I also think that its great that people who have shut-up hearts can freely open them to everyone. What I mean is that people are so much nicer to everyone than they usually are. I love seeing family and friends. Im 11 years old, and I buy gifts for all my friends. But let's not forget, its really about the birth of Jesus.

On Christmas Eve we go to a candlelight service at our church and sing Christmas carols. With all the lights out and about 150 people holding a candle and singing Silent Night--it is awesome. On Christmas Evening, my children, their spouses, and my grandchildren all get together at my house for dinner and opening presents. That's neat too--having my whole family together.

Being with Loved ones, such as my families and friends. It is also time of year where I still can be a kid inside. Also at the end of Dec 25th, my Mom and I have a traditional to go around the block and look at the Christmas Lights/Decorations and admire them, its a nice quality time for me and my mother to share.

I would say the best part of Christmas is gathering together and exchanging gifts and spending time with your family,friends,and pets after school or work.

My favorite part is the act of giving. I also like to receive presents but if i don't get any I don't care. Just as long as I make my family happy.

Watching the expression on my 3 year olds face when she sees what Santa left her while she was sleeping.And seeing the look on her face when she sees the sooty footprints Santa left all around the house from going down the chimney into the fireplace. That is the best.

Spending the day w/the whole family even if not all get along. It is just something about that day that just bring's us all together. Also seeing the smile I can bring to everyone.
