I want to get a LIP PERICING can i numb it with Orajel?

you probubly shouldn't use orajel, plus if you're gonna get a peircing, ya gotta realise it isn't gonna be completely painless, not usually anyway, lol. Also, at the peircing places they usually have a type of anasthetic that they put on the needle that makes it a bit less painless. They did that when they peirced my nose. When you go to the place where you're getting it done, ask about if they do something like that. Also, try to relax as best ya can, it'll hurt more if ur all tense, plus being un relaxed will cause it to hurt more because you'll convince yourself it's gonna hurt and then it will, lol. So just relax and talk to your peircer, and enjoy your peircing! :D

Orajel is not that strong. It would work, but you would have to keep reapplying it every 3 - 5minutes.

Stuffing your mouth with/eating mouthfuls of ice chips right before for a whole five minutes will numb your tongue and mouth too, but not that much.

Just suck it up and take it like a man! Rub some dirt on it.

truthfully. I basically pierced my ideal lip final week. I positioned some orajel on the exterior and the interior. the only ingredient I felt grew to become into the coldness of the needle besides the undeniable fact that it did not harm. And the soreness afterwards while it wears off isn't that undesirable. you may choose some known Tylenol or in uncomplicated terms some motrin and you'd be large.

Orajel would only give a quick numbing,I do not think it would work very good.
Personally I would pack lips with ice then quickly pierce lip , like freezing or chilling it to become numb.♥

Its next to painless. And if it does hurt, I promise it'll only be for a second.

eww dont get a lip piercing, they are weird and funky and i went to the mall and this dude had like his whole face pierced. gross.
