Most of my English Teacher's comments on my papers are "contextualize topic" i don't get the idea.. what exactly am i supposed to do?
If it helps, the paper is a research about euthanasia and whether it should be legalized in the US or not

I suppose the comment "contextualize topic" means something like you need to relate your statements better with the context (or setting) of the topic. For instance, if you make a statement, support it within the context of euthanasia and legalization -- support it, rather than just making the statement.

I would also seek clarification from the instructor as well to make sure this is what he/she means. Some instructors mean different things in their comments.

the word itself means "To place (a word or idea, for example) in a particular context". So maybe your teacher would like you to add more quotes and textual references to your writings. or specific instances that you can cite.
