Excellent question!! I think it's pretty pathetic that Bush gets ALL the blame for the mess after Katrina, but they re-elected the moron who let all those friggin buses flood. Those buses should have been EVACUATING the elderly and infirm!! And Jefferson - good gravy! What a "winner" that one is. And people complain about the Republicans being corrupt?!?
Of course, Massachusetts isn't much better - they keep re-electing Kennedy and Kerry, and they also re-elected Gerry Studds, who went a hell of a lot further than Mark Foley - Studds actually had sex with an underage (male) page. And, if that wasn't outrageous enough, when Studds died, the liberal morons in the media painted him as practically a hero for being "the first openly gay Congressman". Well, that's true - but he only "came out" after he got caught screwing an underage male page!
Just makes ya PROUD, doesn't it?

they did not. the re-elected him to the HOUSE. There is a big difference between the two.
Why? I guess they liked his policies.
