Lord she must miss the stairs. Maybe she played on them and misses them

Cats are creatures of habit and when I moved downstairs from upstairs they really missed playing on the steps. Now that winter is here they need the exercise and it might help to get her a cat house, the kind she can climbe up and down on.

She probably thinks she left something up there. She can't distinguish one house from the next. If she remembers something that she once had she's going to look for it wherever it is that she used to keep it - which at one time was probably upstairs.

probably because you need to show her and probably take her up there for the first few times so she gets comfy with it.
