Just don't have opposite friends.... That is all there is to it. I think that so many people cheat because they put themselves in a position where it is possible to do so. Even if it starts out as friends once you start becoming close to someone like that it can lead to stronger feeling and so on. So just stick to your happy family and don't risk it!!!

If you are in a secure and trusting marriage then friendships with people of the opposite sex should just be natural (for you and her). Why not meet people as a couple that way your wife will get to know your new friends too and you won't have anything to worry about. I am presuming that you are talking about purely platonic friendships but if not, continue to think about your lovely family and know that any unwise decisions will surely take them from you.

You can have friends off the opposite sex...but if you are feeling guilty of something that usually means that you are thinking of messing around. If you friendship with another woman is just that and nothing more, then you should not feel guilty at all. If it bothers you that much, then introduce her to your family and make it clear that you are in love with your wife and very happy with her. That should make everybody feel better about the situation.

You are weird! Everyone have friends of same and opposite sex, unless you have ulterior motive for knowing the opposite sex, if not, I don't understand what have to do with your lovely family.

your having this trouble because you want more than a friend.

if you just want a new friend go to the gym and workout with a new male friend, buy a dog, etc.
