Farm price support programs or inner-city brownfield (abandoned, formerly industrial property) redevelopment?

Yes, this is homework.

But I honestly don't know.

What's the difference btween the people who supporte Bush and the people who supported Gore? It all seems the same to me.

(I'm aware- politics are not my thing.)

What kind of homework assignment is this?
Simply write out that people cannot be boxed in according to their political leanings. Some Democrats are socially conservative, some Republicans are socially liberal. And SOME people who voted for Bush aren't affiliated with Democrats OR Republicans. Same with some who voted for Gore.

I'll speak for myself here: I'm both for farms, and helping them out, as well as for redeveloping inner cities...and I voted for Bush.

Bush supporters are more likely to support inner-city brownfield redevelopment. This is investing money to make more money. A very conservative thing to do.

Price support programs, of any kind, are historically democratic/socialistic.

Btw: Rent controls (liberal thing) are what have made those inner city dwellings become abandoned.

I would probably use a different source for my homework, but that's just me.

Bush and Gore are Polar Opposites. I don't believe that most conservatives would support *either* of those propositions.

Republicans a strong defense, fiscally conservative, pro-life

Democrats smaller defense, more social programs, pro-choice.

Hope that helps!
