O.k. -- if you have a 21 day cycle, then you ovulate on day 7. If your flowl lasted about 5 days, then the sperm could have lived long enough to make it to the egg as it was being released on the seventh day. Actually, in your kind of cycle, you are most fertile on the days you are talking about. Use protection if you don't want to be pregnant. Really -- it only takes one decision to use something all the time, and then you can be worry free. FYI, I just had a mirena IUD put in and love it. No hassle, good for five years, and it's awesome. Put your mind at rest and use something.

The only question worth asking is when did you ovulate. The normal range for periods is from every 21 to 37 days. You might not be ovulating regularly if your periods are at the extremes of that range, you might not be ovulating just on day 14 of your period, and so pregnancy could be possible. But possible is not probable, so you have to ask yourself if you feel lucky. If you really don't want to get pregnant do not have intercourse, but if you want to have intercourse and not get pregnant, you should decide on a method of contraception and use it universally.

It's not a high percentage, but it is still likely. I was worried about this once myself, so I was constantly doing research on it. I forget the exact details of my research since it was so long ago, but I believe sperm can live up to 9 days which means that those sperm are still swimming thru the canal by the time your ovaries release an egg. It is also said, but not proven, that a women ovulates more than once a month, you might want to keep that in mind.

i does no longer hardship. whether his semen got here in touch with your vaginal establishing the probabilities of it making it into your vagina, previous your cervix, into your uterus, and into an egg are nil. they simply reason to worry is that if he moved from anal into vaginal. Then whether he got here in you anus there continues to be some semen which will make its way into your vagina. nevertheless probabilities of those semen making it previous your cervix is likewise nil, on condition that maximum will die whilst they hit the air. additionally i does no longer advise you have anal and then vaginal because of the fact of flow of bacteria, purely slightly tid bit on information.
