A friend should be someone you can trust, someone who will be there when you need them. They should also be someone who has personality characteristics that you admire and would like to emulate (patience, kindness, honesty). You will be judged by the company you keep (may not seem fair, but it is a fact of life....it's called being guilty by association) so choose your friends wisely.

Good qualities include being honest, helping you, confident, no drugs/alcohol, supportive, good influence, no cursing,
Those are what I look for in chosing a friend. You might choose differently because everyone is different.

a person who can make you laugh
and cry why because of how caring they are
there the ones to make you smile when things go bad
that laugh with you and not at you
there the ones that make you card just to tell you that there thinking about you
there the ones that are screaming and yellling out for you when you when your in a game or your doing something you want to get..
there the ones who u know you can call whenever.. and they will listen to you and give you the best advice of there knowlegde...

Be there for you no matter what. As far as personality, only you can make that decision. That's what makes them unique. If you don't like their personality; then it's not a friend. If you don't like their personality; then your not their friend. It's not what they can do for you, but what you can do for each other.

Someone that you can relate to. No problems with drugs or alcohol, and someone who you can trust, and rely on. That's what I look for when I meet new people. I look for people that can make me laugh, and they must have a serious side, honesty is a plus for me.

Everyone loves a good listener. Also, someone who's trustworthy and someone who has a good head on their shoulders (no drugs, alcohol etc.)

they listen to you , they DONT treat you badly , you can trust them , and they should be there for you when you need a friend

you could um fell happy and stuff and they be nice to you dont take drugs dont fight like punching etc and show them your nice and they show it to you
