It is too early to tell. Also Xbox 360 has some backward compatibility so some games from Xbox can be played I know Microsoft had posted a press release not that long ago.
I say PS3.

I also have the 360 and just got the ps3 last week. honestly, i still prefer playing the xbox. yeah, yeah the graphics are great on the ps3, especially for watching blu ray movies. but the xbox live and all the goodies that are avaiable on marketplace are so much better. besides, there are still way too many available games for the 360. the way i see it, is i purchased a bad as dvd player not a ps3. i'll stick with my xbox....sorry sony

My son has an XBox 360 and he loves it. BUT I have seen both and I have to say that just the graphics alone on the PS3 are AMAZINGLY beautiful, it's so realistic looking.
Believe me, I am not a big gamer or fanatic of that kind of stuff (but my son is....) and I still think the PS3 is better although $200.00 more than our XBox 360 cost us earlier this year.

xbox 360 is cheaper but ps3 has better graphics and is $200 dollar more than xbox 360. if your the type of person that doesn't like to spend that much money buy xbox 360 and if your the opposite buy ps3.i say ps3....

I have to say PS3. It has Blu Ray......to make a 360 HD compatible, you need to shell out an extra $200 for it.

right now it may seem that 360 is on the lead over the ps3...but clearly...sony has dominated gaming experience and it's ps3...is so so powerful and has capabilities the 360 can't handle...
all this will come clear when more ps3 games get released..coz right now...there's only one hott! ps3 game...RESISTANCE:FALL OF MAN...that game is tite..but its the only one makin the ps3 hold its spot..
with time...we'll see that sony will continue being the undisputed leader in videogames..yes the 360 is powerful too...but it doesnt match the ps3...with the BLU_RAY disk..and others...
thats wat i think...and im still waitin for the next shipment of the ps3...i wont give up and switch to the 360
