That is a very hard question to answer because love is a feeling. I never felt love for the first time until I was an adult. The way I recognized it was how I felt.
A friend of mine was kind to me. She did nice things for me even when most people never would have. She did things that she by no means had to do. She felt bad for me when other people (my family) were mean to me. When she saw that I was feeling sad, she tried to cheer me up. Then she had a daughter of her own. And I saw the way she was with her daughter. And then I knew. That was all love. It may not be the same thing for you. I think everybody percieves love differently. I do hope that you feel love someday. Once you know what love is, only then will you be able to give love. If you haven't felt love until this point, it may still take some time before you are capable of giving love though. But never take that love in vain. Make sure that you pass it on when you are ready. You will find that the more love you are able to give, the more love you will get in return. I hope you find this all helpfull. Good Luck!

Your gonna get alot of answers on this one. but I belive that if this person you love dies you would never be the same you would be forever wounded until you could be together. I've had some boyfriends but if somthing were to happen to them I'd be concerned or feel horrible and miss them but I would not be devistated.
that is to say I've Honestly never loved someone.
