You could, but why would you? To add a PC Card to a desktop you'd need to install a PC Card slot in the machine. I've tried that a couple of times with very shaky results.

If he's got a nice big "condo" sleeper, get a laptop and a nice big LCD monitor along with a docking station, keyboard & mouse. Now he can use it in the rig, or take it with him quickly and easily if he's working in a hotel or restaurant with a wireless hotspot.

For a start up the dsl would not desire setting up. verify that the cable connecting the pc is linked to between the (often 4) sq. LAN connectors, to no longer usb. flow to the community connection, top click it and decide tcp/ip residences. make confident each and every thing there is set to computerized. In internet Explorer flow to kit/internet strategies and spot that by no potential Dial A Connection is grew to become on. i'm shocked you had to purchase a instant card, all presently listed laptops incorporate instant as generic.
