Just hear me out, it is sort of funny but makes sense.
Socrates said that "I would rather be unsatisfied human rather then being a pig" so in other words, he would rather question his beliefs and the world, and be able to critically think. So, animals can not do this, they do not question their beliefs, if any. And many people believe that humans must help animals. So, if humans breed with animals enough, the species will eventually have the ability to critically think and question their new founded beliefs. What is your opinion on this?

Ok...Think about this then?
How attracted to animals do you think humans are?
Did you ever have a fantasy of banging a pig or any other animal?
If your really that crazed to actually want to go ahead and breed with somthing that's not in our species then you go right ahead, But keep in mind that aminal sperm and human sperm are very different and even if you do produce a animal just like a mule it probably won't be able to reproduce it's own species.
So if you want my answer on should we breed with animals then my answer is " Hell no" but that's just what i think.lol.

I think if that were to happen, messing around with nature, you would wind up with some pretty freakish animal beings, like some animals attack and kill (bears, lions, tigers) and we'd see alot more vicious attacks, not to mention what kind of messed up world would that be? Sure humans aren't the greatest at times, messed up people like Jeffrey Dalhmer, but alot of us are compassionate, caring people. I think people should help animals, I think people should help people, it's all apart of being kind. Kindness would make the world a lot better place on all levels. You treat a person or animal kindly and it doesn't forget that. I tame wild stray cats over the years and not one of them would ever consider hurting me, on the other hand, I've seen very abused cats, cats people kicked, didn't feed, etc attack and lash out in fear. Abolish fear, treat with kindness and you have a good place where both people and animals will want to be.

For one, it would be gross... and they would look pretty ugly!
For two, it is not possible. We must reproduce the same way (which all mammals do, I believe), and also have the same number of chromosomes. We cannot reproduce with dogs. Different number of chromosomes. Same thing with cats. Who are we going to reproduce with?
I just found a short paper written by a tenth grader (I'm in ninth grade... but I'm pretty sure meiosis doesn't change in each school!), and guppies also have 46 chromosomes, just like humans. He says that they still cannot reproduce because the type and arrangement of genes on the chromosomes are different for the two species. That is true.
So, if you were planning on reproducing with a dog, you're wasting your time! lol
I've given you the site where I read the paper. He should be given credit.

Ever heard of natural law, Ben? Humans cannot breed with animals. This is a law that appears to emanate from our very nature. Moreover, human law normally prohibits such behavior. Maybe you should try eharmony.

critical thinking is not an inheritible trait. It is the result of education. Further the human genome will not "breed" with animals without gene splicing.

It's impossible for humans to breed with animals. Most likely we'd get a chimaera, and in general those are also incapable of reproduction with the exception being the whalfin (or however you spell that)

Breed, no. There has been a case made for borrowing genes from other species though and splicing them into ours. For example, sharks don't get cancer even when you inject them with it. Roaches are immune to radiation. and a tree will not starve if it has sunlight and water.
