You need to not be so influenced by other people so easily as to like something just because someone else likes it. Find out who you are and what you like regardless of what other people think.

You have to learn to value your opinions.

When making a decision about whether you like something or not...take a minute and think about how you really feel without any outside influence.

You assume you might like it since someone else told you it was good. Remember we are all different. You may not like what someone else likes until you try it and make a solid elvauation on it.

Leave it alone for a few days and then come back to it, and if your opinion is still the same, it is probably genuinely yours.

Ah, How influenced are you by others? Do you feel anything for that something search your inner dialog and listen to what you/it are saying and go with that.
