I understand women's right to "have control of their own bodies" but I don't think women should be able to murder babies bodies
If I was a simese twin and I wanted to have my brother cut off and killed, would I be able to do it legally????
I DON'T THINK SO.
I think your confused. I'm pretty sure the majority of Americans are pro-LIFE. Because LIFE IS ALWAYS A GOOD THING.
Something about the term "killing babies" doesn't appeal to me.
I don't care what the reason is, it is our duty to protect innocent baby lives.

Depends on how you define pro-choice. A majority of the public would seem to favor, at a minimum, some restrictions on the right to abortion on demand. To answer your question, the Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade in 1973 announced that this right existed (for right or for wrong, even though no right is explicitly set out in the US Constitution). As Justice O'Connor noted, people began to order their lives around this right. Those who have come along to take away this right are bound to be unpopular. IMHO.

Because they don't want politicians deciding what a women can do with their own bodies.
"A recent ABC News/Washington Post poll found that 56 percent of respondents nationwide favored keeping abortion legal in all or most cases. The survey of 1,082 adults, conducted in April 2005, showed that only 14 percent of those surveyed wanted to keep abortion illegal in all cases, with another 27 percent wanting most cases to be illegal.
Voters don’t want the government and politicians involved in their choice about abortion. In a recent survey by The Mellman Group, 62 percent of respondents felt the government should not interfere with a woman’s access to abortion. Only 33 percent believe the government should restrict access."

Every study over the last 30 years shows a consistent 2-1 favoring abortion rights.
It's because most peope think for themselves and are not brainwashed by religious lunatics about the subject.
Anti choice people are really anti-sex.

I dont know if it is the majority.
Pro choice doesnt mean you support abortion, it just means you realize that it is a womans right to choose what is right for her.

Right or wrong it is the majority opinion for the entire World.
I see it as more of a tool to lower the birth rate of the poor and unwanted.

i don't know if the majority is pro-choice but everyone wants to have power over their own bodies and not be forced to have or not have something they want or don't want.

What sources have you discovered that would lead you to make such a statement?
