dry humor = subtle, indirect humor that tends to require some degree of intellect to appreciate
slapstick = in-your-face, over-the-top humor that uses exaggerated gestures, insults, and body movements and elicits an automatic response not requiring intellect to understand

The best way I can think of to describe the opposite of dry humor is Red Skelton. Any kind of slapstick or very obvious (In-your-face) humor is the opposit of dry humor.
