Sometimes, especially on horror movies. You see some really stupid almost naked girl run up the stairs instead of calling the police or do something just as stupid and you can't help but hope that the villain kills her. Or you see some evil human in the movie and hope the badder guy or monster kills him. I really rooted for the evil monsters in the movie They. That movie could have been good, but the girl who played the main character annoyed the crap out of me so I stood up and cheered when she died at the end.

Hi Hambone I'm Penny Mae...Yes, I have to admit I have rooted for the Black Hat, Bad guy, Villian before.
I know but sometimes it is hard to tell the good guys from the bad guys.
Like where some creepo rapes a little child and the parents go after him and "GET" him and now we are suppose to look at the parents as the "BAD GUYS" and the CREEPO as the victim!!!!!!
Go Figure.

Only in a joking matter. I don't think I've ever seen a movie or TV show where I agreed with the villain's motives or views.
Sometimes when I see a character on TV that really annoys me, I will side with his or her enemy, just because I dislike the main character.

yeah have you ever seen blackadder? the main character is the villian sometimes in other shows i root for the villian
like in survivor even though i didnt think he was i was going for jonathon

yeah sometimes, usually cos they're hotter than the bad guy!! i would like to just root the villian. dracula in van helsing... ba'al in stargate sg1 to name a couple.
