I want to get my guy friend a miniature trumpet for xmas and i want to engrave it...but i have no idea what to put on it. I rly like him as more than a friend and i was wondering if i should put something about how i fell on it or stick to something like his name. what should i do?....thanx for any help!

I would say jsut engrave his name on the trumpet and attach a note stating something along the lines of "to the one who has always been there for me when I needed it most."

Make sure you put the date on it. Years from now he'll not remember the date or even the year you gave it to him, so that's important. If you put "to my best friend" on it that will be either the start of something great or a memory he'll treasure.

I would stick to his name.
If you were an actual "couple" that would be different.
