I have the Treo 700p. My wife has the Blackberry that you speak of. If it were me I would go with the TREO of any model. Like the person above said, You WILL be required to purchase the Blackberry service which is $39.99 a month to get unlimited web and email access!!! The Treo Family you can just get you a cheap DATA plan and be done with it! If you are more into having a little fun with your phone then the Treo would be for you! If your a Business lady, with your job reimbursing you for some of your cellphone bill then Blackberry might be down your road!!! I love my Treo Ive had them all...Treo 600-700p!! I like the touch screen (Blackberry has a wheel that scrolls down your menus), and the tonz software options you can get through many sites!!!!

between treo 650 and blackberry pearl, i would suggest the treo. even though the pearl looks a bit nicer, i believe that the treo has a better operating system (Palm OS). i think it is also easier to have a touch-screen PDA like the Treo rather than a roller-ball located on the Pearl. My friend has a Treo 650 which i played around with and it seems pretty easy to use, seeing that it is going to be your first PDA, that is a plus. But I don't know much about the Pearl, sorry about that.

If you are even sorta clumsy or rough on your phones, do NOT get a Treo. They are VERY fragile. We've had 2 of them, and the screens have completely cracked and distorted with only slight drops. Not like 40 foot drops. Like 6 inch drops. Blackberry is more ruggedized. Otherwise, the Treo is nicer to use, but the Blackberry is also acceptable.

I've never heard of the Palm Treo. I've seen a commercial for the blackberry though and its pretty.

u need to get the treo because uless u r willing to pay i think it is 39 dollars for unlim internet cuz the blackberry is online 24/7 and they charge u for it..plus the treo is better neways
