I am a mother of four wonderful children. My favorite gift from my kids on Christmas day was breakfast in bed (no jumping right up to open gifts) and then they all sat me in front of the television where they played a video of pictures of us over the years set to music. It was very thoughtful and ingenious. There are places that make these fairly quick or if you are good with photo shop and have a scanner, you could make one yourself. Good luck, sweetie...you sound like a wonderful kiddo!

Write her a very nice card, telling her what are your favorite memories with her, what you have learned from her, and why she's a good mom. If you put thought into your words, she'll probably break down in tears! I'm serious. For the gift itself get her a frame that says "#1 Mom" or "Best Friends" if you feel that way, and ask her if you two can go and get your portrait taken together to put in it. It will really be a special thing. I am famous for being the best gift-giver, but with my idea for you, I must say, I have out-done myself!! SHE WILL LOVE IT!!!!! Merry Christmas.

The night before Christmas do everything that she nags about, things that are good for you but often resist doing. Then give her a big hug and kiss and tell her that you love her and Merry Christmas!

I am a Mom and the gifts I like the best are the silly things my children made when they were little. This year I asked my daughter, who is an artist, to draw a self-portrait in charcoal. It doesn't have to be much, as long as you do it with love.

what I usually do is buy something my Mom has a huge interest in!!So whatever your Mom collects..great gift idea.
Also,something she has seen/wanted
(purse,outfit,dvd,cd,etc.)
that you know about, and she just didn't get around to buying it.
You could always make something..a collage with her favorite photos, decorate a pillow..so many things!
other gift ideas:
gift card/certificate
flowers
chocolate
dinner
jewelry(popular item that I usually give)..almost every mother I know loves jewelry!!
hope this helps and Happy Holidays!!!
