If you want to actually go back to school at say, a public school. Go talk to a principale of a public school and see what they say. I know that in my school thjey've let people who have dropped out come back and finsih if they give a god reason why they should be let back in. If this doens't work, go for your GED, but get help from someone at a school, like a teacher something. It'll make writting the exam a lot easier and you'll feel alot more comfortable knowing that you know what you're doing and that you're going in the right direction. Just by saying that you're going to go back to school is a step in the right direction, just keep it up and you can do anything you set your mind to.

--Good Luck to you with whatever you decide!!

First if you have enough credits and only need a few more you could go back. If you need ALOT of credits or don't want to deal with the high school thing go to your nearest Adult Education Center they can get you into any classes you need to take (usually at a low fee or free) before you take the GED test. Good Luck! I dropped out the middle of my junior year and by the middle of my "senior" year I had already gotten my GED and was ready for college, BEFORE my former classmates.

Yes you should try to get your GED. Then when that is done you can look into colleges, maybe community. You will feel good about the decisions you make. Don't put yourself down for dropping out of school. Just make the most out of today

Call your local high school maybe if there is a Jr. college around or possibly a library also, and ask them about the GED they have classes for it if you need help, and they can also show you where and when you can take it.
If you want to go even further with it you could actually go to the Jr. college and get your associates, it helps and impresses a lot of people while looking for work!

what i did years ago - was call my local high school, see if they offered adult night classes - i was college prep and only short a few credits - i had to take 2 classes in history and one in math - i actually got my diploma - honestly, i think the GED is much harder - i wish you all the best - and you should be very proud of yourself for making this first step of many!!!

Definitely get your GED first. That will open a lot more doors for you.

Believe me, you really want to go back to school and earn that GED and then go to college. If you don't, you will really regret it. Believe me. But if you don't want to take my advise you don't have to.
