If you look at the 18th Amendment (prohibition) and the 19th Amendment (women's suffrage), they are out by a couple of months.
The same movement that started prohibition was the movement that instated women's suffrage.
The 20th amendment repealed the 18th because it was such a failure. Really the 19th amendment should have also been repealed.
Also consider this:
A married woman gets a vote - her husbands. Except he can veto wild errors in judgement based on emotions or hormones. In a marriage the partners nominally vote the same, making one of their votes redundant.
Now in the case of unmarried women, that is even worse. She's too dumb to get a husband, I don't see how she is smart enough to vote.

Women are so silly. I watched a show where some guy went around asking women the same thing. Since women always know what they are talking about, they answered with absolute confidence that it should end immediately. I laughed until I couldn't get up anymore.
And yeah suffrage for women is a horrible thing. No woman should be allowed to go through such a painful process.

Make no mistake: We are one kind. We have a male and female part of the species. There is propencity and leaning towards different skills and charactaristics. This is evolutionary (or creationally-if you believe in it) sound, proven and triumphant.
Without females there would be no life, without males there would be no evolution. We are one, we need each other.
From the beginning women have bourne our children, continued the human race, taken care of the home, fed us when hunting got bad, soothed our wounds, provided companionship and love, and trecked with us across the vast distances we trecked. They have been with us all the way. Today they take care of households. Without the housewife society would collapse. Althought they are not in leaning towards the arts-politic, they are ones that live and work here on this planet with us. They deserve a part in the overall decision making. They have paid their dues, over a thousand generations. They have earned the right of suffrage. Even if some find problems, this is a chance we take in the great adventure of DEMOCRACY. We are one, and a house divided against itself- WILL FALL.

I am for suffrage so that we can be respected, but to do such an act so I can be like a man, same pay as him, same job as him, no. That is when I disagree.
Women are soft for a reason and I don't mean being weak. A weak women is one who lets society rule her and she has no mind of her own. I have a mind of my own and the above answer is how I feel.

i think you might get some funny answers. And of course women suffrage should have been started, equal rights...you don't want all the men to be incharge, right?

What century are you from? Go to feministmajority.com or maybe it is.org. Also go to planned parenthood's site and ourbodiesourselves.org to mention just a few.
Get with it. Women are full human beings! (and I guess so are men.)
