Watching the news this evening about the big operation which netted 230 here in Minnesota and I'm thinking are these people dangerous, what's the threat they are imposing on the rest of America. There were of course mistakes made and a few citizens were taken away that were released later

Personally I believe there are better places that money and resources could have been utilized instead of this multi-state operation that sends 1230 Mexicans back home.
The following story was about this African American individual who has been assaulting women in Saint Cloud, MN then driving them to Minneapolis and forcing the to use their ATM cards (That’s how we know the individual race from the camera at the ATM) He beat them to the point of being hospitalized. Why don’t we round up this guy and his gang banging buddies and send them back to Africa. That would at least keep our streets safer

I don't feel any safer. I'm sure they don't either. Of course, I also know that legal residents, even people born in the USA steal social security numbers... and that there are good and bad people in every group. There are already many many Legal residents of all races and creeds who have horribly violent crime records.

This country spends money on all sort of ridiculous things (like war), while it short changes important issues (like sex offenders and public education.. oh and health care).

We are spending how much money and killing how many innocent Iraqis all in the name of giving them a better life.. and spending all of this money to deny Mexicans a better way of life.

It's a start!! Although the total number arrested only represents about one/tenth of one percent of the problem I'll take it!! More raids are needed and hopefully the new Congress will pass legislation than enables the ICE agents to arrest the management of such companies for their hiring practices along with their illegal workers.

Maybe the guy who beat the women wouldn't have been doing so if he had one of those jobs the illegals had, maybe if illegals weren't available at a sub-par wage he would have had a job there for a decent standard of living and wouldn't have to lead a life of crime. The correlation I just gave isn't fact, it's just an example of what people do when their ability to work on a level playing field is taken away by corporate greed and government inaction.

I am glad this wholesale criminal activity is being taken seriously. It will take a long time to get rid of all 12 million criminals living here without permission, but the time, resources, and expense is well worth paying to retain the rule of law in the US.

Every single illegal needs to be deported.

I heard a statistic from the goverment the other day that said that out of the 11 million illegal immigrants in the US, over 2 million of those had VIOLENT CRIMINAL RECORDS, that's not including the ones who have non-violent criminal records.

So they are infact a threat to America because of their violent nature. Many people leave mexico to get away from the law, that is one of the main reasons we need to stop the illegal immigration. I think tax money is well spent if it gets rid of VIOLENT immigrants

Do I feel safer? No. Do I feel better? Yes. Do I want them to continue the crackdown on companies that hire illegals? Yes. More jobs open for legal citizens.

I'll keep it simple for you.

Let's say you are a hispanic waiting in line at the movie theater. I cut in front of you in line. Then I get a free movie ticket because I'm white. You'd be pissed wouldn't you? My point is made, send them home.

I am sure the people who had their social security numbers stolen by the illegals that were arrested feel MUCH safer.

No, I don't feel safer. In fact, I have never been comforted by them sending illegals back. You see, real terrorists come legally so that things like that don't happen and screw up your plans.

I do not feel any safer by this because if you think about it all the criminals in jail or prison are citizens, because otherwise they would be deported.
