Do you have central heat and air? If so run your A/C fan several hours a day. Also perhaps you need to put a vent in the door to help the exchange of air.
Get her a bottle of Fabreeze and explain she has to spray at least twice a week or daily or whatever is needed. Or leave the door partially open to help the air exchange.
I'm not sure of the situation. Can you go in and crack the windows when she is out to help the situation? Is there a ceiling fan, that might help the circulation some. There are always plug in air freshners. You could plug a subtle smelling one in an out of the way outlet, that she might not find.
Good Luck.

If it is smell you want to be rid of try the old fashioned air cleaning way. Soak a towel in vinegar. Ring it out real good. Swing it in circles throughout the room. The vinegar absorbs odors. You can also set bowls of vinegar around the room over night. They will help rid the odors. Sprinkle baking soda all over the carpet and let it sit for up to an hour. Then vaccum (with clean bag). That should help odor in room and sweeten vaccum smells. Cut up oranges and lemons and put in bowls around room. The citrus helps with odors naturally. Also washing the curtains of a room can help. They really seem to hold onto odors. Toss any pillows into the dryer with dryer sheets. And of course, open windows and doors for a while. m

Open the windows and let the air from outside in the house. Really, there is no way to generate oxygen unless you pump it in from outside. Febreze spray is a great deodorizer but the air is the problem.

Change your AC/furnace filter monthly, using a high quality filter, ask her to open the windows daily for a brief period, and check out the specific plants that do the biggest job of trading carbon dioxide for oxygen.
Pothos, English ivy, weeping fig, Peace lily, philodendron, mother-in-law's tongue - all do well without bright light.

there are a number of styles of hypersensitive reactions. i'm getting annoyed plenty during the iciness additionally. What enables me to ease them is to maintain clean air contained in the abode. each few days I open doorways and abode windows and pass the clean air. Indoor air during the iciness gets stale. clean air is so plenty greater effective and greater handy to breath. in case you incredibly think of approximately it what's contained in the air contained in the iciness(closed up abode) ? airborne dirt and dust, cooking odors, germs, etc... with out clean circulated air all your doing is respiratory the same old issues that's been hectic you. during the iciness its greater effective to open up the abode because of the fact there are not many irritants floating around(pollens and etc..) like during the spring. to boot cooler air is greater effective for you. additionally do no longer use chemical components to airborne dirt and dust. A rag rinsed in elementary water is ultimate. wish it enables :)
