Once you get a Google Adsense account, you are required to enter your Social Security Number to activate your account. Is there any other way to do this? Is it safe to do this becuase with a Social Security Number, someone can find out everything about you. Thanks!

Considering that it is Google, it is most likely safe. Take a look through the terms of usage if you feel unsafe. You might also talk to their support to see what they have to say, asking why they need it and what it will be used for.

Guess I wouldn't be doing any business with them then. Only you can decide if it's worth the risk. Try submitting all zeros or all nines and see if it takes it.

000-00-0000
999-99-9999

Do NOT submit some other made-up number, however!

I would call them and not put in an account thing. If it has a padlock on it then it is secure but otherwise call them.

don' do it find another service like googles - the request of ur social security

very surprised they are requiring peoples social security numbers.
i would never give that out to anyone online

The only people that need to know your SSN are you, the government, and your employer. Don't give it to anyone else who asks you for it.

i dont think its safe to give anyone nything because they could use it to get money and you couldnt do anything about it
