I watched that movie and it was so good. I was wondering if anyone else liked that movie because when I ask people they think that it is like a porno or something and it really isn't.

Amazing movie, heartwrenching. Sissy Spacek's character to have to go through losing a child would be bad enough but under such horrible circumstances. The whole build-up also. Before I saw the movie I didn't get the title.

Those people are just being stupid. Yes the movie is really good. Although really sad, it leaves you thinking about things. It was nominated for some Oscars, including Best Actor and Actress. Tom Wilkinson and Sissy Spacek got a few awards for their roles. You can look them up at IMDB for more info.

Wow, what a great movie. I don't think I realized what a great actor Tom Wilkinson is until then. I'd seen him in lots of things before, but he was great in this one. And when Sissy Spacek was directing her chorus, and held in her emotions like she did, it was really phenomenal.
Sometimes underacting is the best kind of acting.

yeah, i have seen that movie. it was really good. it was just very sad because of how the son was killed and the killer got off. that was really despressing how the son was killed.
