I laid my black leather jacket on my tan couch (huge mistake). Now there is a black stain on my couch. Any help will be appreciated.

You have what is known as dye transfer. A leather cleaner like Maxi Cleaner may work. If this is not successful you will need to have a leather technician out who will have stronger products to either remove it or redye it for you.

LTT have technicians throughout the UK who can do this work.

You should also be using a good Leather Protector on leather. This will act like a scotchgard and inhibit dye transfer and make cleaning easier.

I agree with the ice method. Put the ice in a plastic sandwich bag and wrap it in a paper towel to protect the couch from moisture. Hopefully the gum will break off when frozen.
