Not Fantasy, but the ODD THOMAS series by Dean Koontz
ODD THOMAS
FOREVER ODD
BROTHER ODD
Love them!!! Salvatore and the Marrowind is an entertaining and easy read.
THE DARK TOWER series by SK are fabulous if you like western mixed with Fantasy...
For the younger crouds the Lemony Snicket: SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS are a mixture of great story telling and vocabulary acquisition.
On the front of Religious Study you have THE COST OF DESCIPLESHIP by Bonhoeffer (Luheran Pastor mudered in a NAZI prision for a plot to assasinate Hitler),
C.S. Lewis and UNTIL WE HAVE FACES is a wonderful allegorical tale. IRON JOHN by Robert Bly is also great Allegory for the failing of modern males in our society.
There are so many I think I may figuratively Poo.

The Time Traveler's Wife. One of the best books I have ever read in my life. The story is GENIUS. I read it twice. Its by Audrey Niffenegger. You will be so happy you read it. OMG it it the best friggin book. Also, White Oleander by Janet Fitch. The movie doesn't even come close to doing it justice. It is SO well written and such a compelling story.

I recently read the book Daddy's Little Girl by Mary Higgins Clark. I thought it was a great book! If you like murder mysteries that are not the kind of gross that will make you throw up, this is perfect!

I dunno how old anyone is but if you're mid teens by god you've absolutely GOT to read the trilogy His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. Its got everything! Romance, action, different worlds, and some awesome theology. Another great book is The Princess Bride by S Morgenstern (abridged by William Goldman) its all of the above & more!
