I go to the sight every once in a while and I would like to know these clues people are talking about.

Actually I think you might be wondering about when fans are discussing "clues" in the books. They don't always mean the clickable fun things on jkrowling.com that lead to little games and stuff. There is a big fan movement that thinks that JK Rowlings hides "clues" to how the story will turn out in her writing. The clues are hidden in things like certain words, or mentioning something that sounds unimportant next to something that means it's very important. It can be a mystery type clue, or a wordplay clue, or a clue that's a reference - like for example the fact that Dumbledore's bird is a phoenix leads a lot of people to think that is a big clue that Dumbledore isn't dead and he will be reborn from the ashes. Clue seekers (often calling themselves "harry potter sleuths") tear apart her books line by line and word by word looking for double and triple meanings.

There are several good books and websites that have sparked the whole HP sleuth movement. the best book to start with is "The ultimate unofficial guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter, books 1-4" (link below.) The book tells you what the clues are and then explains them, so it's the way to start.

I've found being an "HP Sleuth" made me like (and admire) the books even more! There is a good discussion forum as well for books 5 and 6 on mugglenet.com

Hope this helps!

Everything is hidden. The doors that are usually closed are sometimes unlocked.
