parks do provide this information along with yearly deaths an where they died how many injury's due to rides i think in 2006 there was 85 deaths in amusement parks and over 500 injury's and i figure about 125,000 a year got lost in the usa alone but if you call the place you are going and say you want a status report of deaths an what not in there park that is public files they have to give it up just like a restaurant has to show you there lic. and you can demand to see there last health inspection certificate

No park would ever publicly release this data.

But I'm going to make some assumptions.

Say that a lost child = one that had to have their name called to come to the ticket booth back to their parents.

Assume that it happens about twice an hour (reasonable, no?).

That's 12 hours of average park opening hours x 2 lost kids per hour = 24 lost kids per day. I'm going to round that up to 25 to account for more lost kids during the holidays, but less during school.

25 x 365 days of the year = 9,125 kids.

So i'd say between 9,000 - 9,500 lost kids per year.
