Example: they send you an email that you know is an Internet hoax. So you go to Snopes, find the page, then email it to them with a little note that says "Hey, that story is just a hoax, check out this site." You know they read it, they usually just send back a little note like "Thanks" but afterwards, they avoid you or take you off their email list. ( you find this out from other friends )
Someone tell me, what the heck is up with that? It's just the TRUTH, it's not like I accused anyone of lying! I really just don't understand people sometimes! Can anyone explain it to me??

Wow, I've never had anyone remove me from their e-mail list. Maybe your "friends" are even more sensitive than mine are? When I read the origional questions, I was just thinking that the truth hurts, but that's a little oversensitivity over an e-mail hoax. Maybe you don't need those people sending you their forwards anyways!

Good luck!

the answer to your question is very simple, the truth hurts. nobody wants to hear the truth if it is hurting their pride or ego.

they not not want to hear the truth, just their perception of it. that's why we have all the race problems we do. they can't stand the truth about themselves. they cry racism. to try and make them look better. it doesn't work...........................
