Disneyland is located in Anaheim, CA. It is the original Disney theme park, and opened July 17, 1955. It is part of the Disneyland Resort, which includes Disney's California Adventure. FYI, it is called Disneyland, not Walt Disneyland (explanation below).
Walt Disney World opened Oct 10, 1971, near Orlando, FL. Since Florida had so much more land than Anaheim, it is much bigger. There are 3 other "sister parks" in this resort: EPCOT (Environmental Prototype Community of Tomorrow), Disney/MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Walt Disney died before WDW opened, so the name was changed from "Disney World" to "Walt Disney World", as a tribute to Walt. Everybody knows Walt, but his brother Roy was just as much as part of building Disneyland as Walt.

Hi, the difference between the two is simply the specific Disney theme park. Walt Disney World is located in Florida, while Walt Disney Land is the location in southern California. Enjoy

Disneyland in Anaheim California is the first park and is a much smaller version. Disney World in Florida covers a lot of acreage and has a movie studio. Epcot center with some of the rides from Disneland Anaheim. I don't think Walt Disney ever saw the building start of the Disney World but the plans were originally drawn up by him.

Disney worl is in Florida and Disney Land is in CA.
The actuall parks are not all that different the difference lies in the surrounding parks. Disney World offers the Animal Kingdom ( I think that's what it's called)and Epcot and Disney Land offers California Adventure.
