Huge 8 ft tree I decorated it with such pride, so big i had to squash it into the corner so all the lights and masses of decorations all went facing out.
I called my mother- in -law to admire it and she brought her mother who turned her nose up and said,
"its a bit bare isn't it?" as she tugged at a perfectly placed bauble, the whole thing collapsed on top of her.
When we eventually dug her out from under it she looked like a pin cushion covered in fairy lights.
Served the old bag right!
every year since we've placed her pic on the top stuck to the face of an angel to warn off future critics.

The ONLY person who has the INCOME in the home and does everything else -- which means it is ME! Like the Holiday lighting on the exterior of the home, the Christmas Tree in the House, the Wrapping of the Christmas Gifts, sending out the annual Holiday Cards, and everything else -- it is JUST me.
