If you were going to buy one blues CD which one would it be? Must be someone other than George Thorogood (don't like) or BB King (had enough)

The best blues cd theis year is "Watermelon Slim & The Workers" on the NorthernBlues label. Saw Slim a few months ago live. Fantastic time. Check him out on Youtube.

I like Fats Domino personally, can't go wrong with Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, or Muddy Waters

Jimi Hendrix: Blues from MCA is great too.

The Robert Johnson collection.

It was recored in like 1927 and it's raw and gritty and yet still you see the influence this man had on today's music.
