Oh please... Don't listen to them. I have a ferret and I love him to death. They make great pets. Sorry I can't help you on where to get one. But when you do I would suggest getting a young one. It just gives them more time to bond with you. They are alot of responsibility so you will probably want to do your reserch on them before just buying one. (if you havn't already) Be prepared. Don't let that scare you though. Once you get the hang of it, it's not bad at all. Good luck!

What state are you in? If you're in California forget it, they're still not legalized. Anywhere else you should be able to find them in pet stores or on the internet when you google ferret breeders. Also, you could adopt one you find on www.petfinders.com.
Good luck and make sure you learn as much about them as you can.

petco has the them. and also petsmart. but i had one and a female you have spayed. unless you plan on breeding. and
they dont use a litter box. lots of smell and cleaning all the time. but they are really cool pets.
just make sure.
also try your local animal shelters sometimes they have small and furry pets that pet decide they dont want after all.

Some pet stores sell them but why would you want a weasel for they are nasty little animals and can get under every thing.
