It sounds to me like he does think that you are joking around. Stop waving the signs and just sit by him and talk to him. If he doesnt respond, well then he is just not intrested.

I don't know if guys say this anymore but my first boyfriend many years ago used to say 'Blow Me' to his friends and they would say it to him. They - all of them - were extremely heterosexual and so was he (very loving and a good boyfriend and my first...) I asked him one time why they said that and why, when he got a post card from someone who was on spring break, they would write that on the bottom of the card. He said it was just a phrase they said to each other - and I just took that to be the truth and didn't think about it again. He cheated on me - with a girl - and after we broke up, he had a long relationship with a girl and probably married her but he still wrote me a love letter when he was missing me one night! He was romantic and sweet and loved sex. We were pretty young. If this is the only thing that has ever bothered you, I would tell your husband that it worries you because you were shocked. But I'd believe him if everything else in the marriage is fine. The guy he was talking to - you say he was married once. It's hard to keep rumors that someone's gay from circulating. Imagine that this guy did tell your husband that he is feeling homosexual tendencies now, years after his marriage. If he told your husband this in confidence, would your husband drop him as a friend? If they were good friends, I hope not. And your husband could say things like that to kid him - and not to mean that he really would ever get in the shower with him! That's another scenario for that phone call.

Be brave and approach him first next time you see him. Talk with him even in front of your girlfriends. What do they matter if you really care?
I hope he doesn't think you are joking with him, but if he does you need to reassure him that you aren't teasing him and that you really want to be there with him.
Your girlfriends won't be there for you 20 years from now and this guy might be.

Since he has no friends and he's nerdy then he is probably not use to that kind of attention. He has probably never had a girlfriend and is shy. Try talking to him alone and see how that goes. Or at least try to get him to like you.

Well...if you want him to know for sure then you have to go an talk to him and let him know for certain...as you say...if he has no friends...which I doubt, then he may think you guys are teasing him and being incorrigible bit-ches...no offense...why play guessing games? If you like him, then tell him and see where it goes...otherwise quit messing around and go to lunch or read a book like he does...maybe you wouldn't spend so much time playing games

Well i wouldn't really know what he's thinking. But darling, if you really like him, then you should go to him at lunch, sit with him and talk to him and tell him how you feel. If you don't want to scare him off.. ask him out for coffee... and that's right who cares what your friends think! Go for it... you'd never know if you never try... Good Luck!!

If you act like its a joke, its a joke. If you like him then like him and talk to him instead about him or at him.
