First we make everything a fraction:
4/10
7/3
Reciprocals are simple now: (divide into 1)
10/4
3/7
Opposites add to zero:
-4/10
-7/3
Surely there are examples of this in your textbook.

2 1/3 7/3 then the reciprocal is 3/7

Am I doing your math homework!?!?!
0.4 is of course four-tenths of 4/10 which reduces to 2/5. A reciprocal is the flip of that which is 5/2 which reduces to 2 1/2.
2 1/3 is 7/3 as an improper fraction which flips to be 3/7. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!!!!

opp:-10/4 and -3/7.
rec: 10/4 and 3/7
This is because 4/10 = 0.4. To get the reciprocal, just flip it over: For the opposite, just add a negative sign. This is the same for two and one third, 7/3. 7/3 flipped equal 3/7. The opp is just to add the negative sign (-).
Good luck.

reciprocal is where you just flip the numerator and denominator:
4/10 to 10/4 and 7/3 to 3/7
unless opposite just means the negative of a positive number or positive of a negative, I'm lost

best thing to do is convert it all to a fraction...
0.4 is equal to 4/10. recirpicol just flips the sign, so it would be 10/4, or 2.5.
2/1/3 - this is equal to 2/1 X 3/1 - you just take the top two and multiply them by the flip of the bottom one. so 2/1/3 is equal to 6/1. therefore the reciprical is 1/6.
good luck. if you are ever stuck, take 1 and divide it by a number. the answer will always be the number's reciprical b/c any number times its reciprical is always equal to 1.

A reciprocal is say 2/5 it would be 5/2
Opposites are the negative of a postive number and a postive of a negative number.
Good luck.
