No. I can only say that I have not always TRIED to be myself because I know that would get me into trouble talking to lots of people (with the straight forwardness). But most of the time I am myself.

Definately! when you lie it can get you into more trouble! Being yourself means you will meet people who want to be with you for you! However we are all influenced by different people and I think this will be reflected in our personalities so everyone inpersonates to an extent.

I have tried but until I came out as gay I found it difficult. Having come out I now feel I can be my true self and feel much happier at doing so.

Being yourself is much the best thing to do if you can.

Not until I got sober! I use to be whatever someone wanted me to be now I am me whether people like it or not! I am proud to be me a lesbian, a witch and a mother. I think I am a good person, I may not be the "norm" but I'm me!

Generally. I'm not officially out to my new friends--new friends new school year, y'know? All my other friends know, and they still let me plunder their fridges. ;) And love me for who I am. I've also told my family and my sister's friends. I've only told my closest friends my deepest secrets, my religion (many people would flip over it) and my sexual preference. So yea, generally I'm all about the real me and I love being me!

Me, myself, and I, the three best people I've ever known.

Yes, I mean there's no use in life to act like someone else its pointless. Being yourself is much better because it keeps you sane and happy.

i'm not sure really, i think we all spend a lot of time as youngsters being what other people want us to be whether it is our parents, teachers other children,

i don't think i really knew the real me until my 20's and i think i'm still learning now who i am

good question
