I have alays wanted to publish a book and want to start writing but I don't want to waste my time if I never get it published. It will be a sort of life coaching book for young women looking to get married, not a novel. Anyone out there with experience on this subject?

just mail it to a publisher thta sell you type of book anless you want to get publish by those large publishing houses then get a literary agent because most of them don't take manuscript from people without agents , and there not as expesive as most people think,

oh and be carefull about it......

Scams are usually pulled from phoney literary agents. The way to know if a agent is legitimate is easy. agents usually find clients and demand no money because they initially gain from their clients' successes and they usually find their client by using the expression "discovered". if they ask for a fee in advance then thier probably a scam.
