Do i have to seperate the males....females or both?

Yes, separate the males from the female. It's impossible for a female rodent to raise her babies with a male around, because the males eat the babies. Sadly. :(

The best bet is to move the males into a different cage since the mother is already used to her home and it'll be easier for her to girth birth to and raise her babies in a place that she's familiar and comfortable with.

separate the males from females. I am having the opposite problem here. 2 females 1 male and I want them to breed but the male is eating the babies. Next time I will separate them. You might be able to keep them together and they may eat the babies, but you will get another litter every month or so. Best to separate.

If you don't want to keep having baby mice, you have to separate the female from the males!

You do need to seperate the girl because if you don't it'll be harder for her to get food and when she has the babies most likely the males will eat them. My mom used to work in a labratory with mice.

you should put the pregnant female in a small seperate cage like even a box with bedding and keep plenty food and water for her
