I can only think of two..
TRON (1982) to this day it is known as a milestone in computer graphics made movie. Disney refused to help make it because at the time all artwork was done by hand drawing. 20 years later they let go of their main hand drawers.
Barry Gordy's The Last Dragon..... I would love to see the final fight redone. the "Glow" was an amazing special effect even at that time.

Tron was Tron BECAUSE OF the 'groundbreaking effects'. If there were a remake, there just wouldn't be anything 'groundbreaking' about it. So what would be the point?
There's not many movies that need remade, if they were right the first time. It's the ones that didn't have the budget or time to be made right that should be remade. Or any movie that WAS very good but just got lost in the shuffle when it first came out.

Daredevil. Anything with Ben Affleck. C'mon... that was just asinine casting.
You can't mess with any of the pioneers in film making. Tron was a pioneer in that sense. You can't re-create the same affect on the audience as the new technology had at the time the original was made. Innovation is rare today. People George Lucas and The Wachowski brothers are a dying breed. Anything can be done with computers now-a-days, anything else is a matter of scale (Lord of the Rings). Re-makes are only good for classic stories that have been told over & over again.

I would remake Robin Hood...without Kevin Costner please. I think you could take most of the Ocean's 11/12 peeps and put them in the lead roles.

"Classic" movies need to be appreciated for the 'art' of the time they were made. Anything less is not worth remaking. Leave well enough alone. Sorry.
