i recently moved my desktop computer to my room, along with the wireless router. Now i have everything set up, and my wireless internet does not work on my laptop computers. when i go near the wireless router, it says it has an excellent connection, but it does not connect to the internet. How do i go about fixing this problem?

unplug the power to both your modem and router for about 30 seconds then plug them back in then restart the laptop

Right click on the internet connection icon in the task bar, click repair and that should do it for you. Also where you put the router may not let your laptop get a good connection when you move further away, sometimes things like walls and other obstructions block the wireless signal, you might try higher gain antennas for the router.
