Just last week an economist from Bangladesh got a Peace Nobel Prize for economic Development because he developed an income generating approach through a Gramin Bank (Rural Development Bank), aren’t they the Peace Fellows get frustration with such decision?
Why not the Nobel Board gave Economic Nobel Prize? Isn’t it a mistake of the Nobel Board? Or a kind of special privileged discrimination?

IMO economic development is one of the best ways to bring about peace, people who have a family, a house, tv, vcr, refrigerator etc, usually don't start wars or blow themselves up

Actually there is a Nobel Prize for economics but it honors those who do theoretical work in the field. This year it was given to Edmund S Phelps was cited for research into the relationship between inflation and unemployment, giving governments better tools to formulate economic policy.

Bangladeshi Muhammad Yunus and the Grameen Bank were awarded the peace prize because he and the bank are seen as improving poor people's lives by granting them small loans but requires no collateral. The idea is to allow poor people to have access to money to start businesses, sustain farms and livestock and generally lift them out of poverty.

So for empowering the poor and raising their chances to live a better life, the award was granted to M. Yunus and his bank and banking philosophy. I would think the Peace Fellows would see this as promoting peace.

Three American Presidents should have received the Peace Nobel Prize for Economic Development:
JFK
Reagan
Bush
for Tax Cuts for Working People.
It was a shining example to the whole world of what tax cuts can do for a nation.
3 HEROES OF THE USA. (AND THE WORLD.)
