Personally if he was to sigh for Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal or any other team you would love him if it was your team.

So JEALOUSY then!!!!!

I don't know why either. Ok, so he winked at his bench when Rooney got sent off but Rooney deserved to get sent off and it had nothing to do wth Ronaldo.

My personal gripe with him is his constant theatrics. It is a shame because he is a massively talented footballer and he should let his feet do the talking.
As for the idea that he got Rooney sent off, that's just laughable. Ronaldo didn't force Rooney to stamp on Carvalho's nuts, did he? OK, the card waving was bang out of order, but the bottom line is Rooney has a vicious temper that needs curbing. Even if he had stayed on the pitch, England still would have lost. We weren't good enough to win the World Cup, pure and simple.
PS: I enjoy a beer and I was raised on a council estate so I take particular umbrage with a certain comment. You snotty b*tch.

Still Ambrose. It was b/cos of what happened at Germany 2006 world cup. According to the English, they believed that Ronaldo persuaded the ref. to give his fellow teammate striker Rooney a red card. But C. Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs are the heart of M. United which are at the top of the table with 5 point ahead of Chelsea, and 15 Alsenal.

They blame him for the early exist in the world cup coz they believe he deliberately got Rooney sent off coz he did speak to the referee when he stamped on Carvalho. However I believe two wrongs don't make a right, Rooney has a fiery temper that needs sorting out, further more he wasn't properly fit for the word cup. My only problem is that C. Ronaldo has a habit of diving it was blatant about two weeks ago.

Most level headed normal English people don't hate Ronaldo but all the sad beer swilling deluded council estate people do because he STOLE the World Cup from them. How could he do that when England had no chance of winning?

The Cricket team are great, the fans are great and so are the team. The English fans/players/media's attitude in general football is terrible.

Manchester United fans love him when he scores but otherwise they don't like him. He was robbed of Young Player of the Tournament award from jealous England fans, we all know he played brilliantly and where may one ask was Rooney when players were considered for this award.

The rest of the world noticed Podolski and Torres because they are promising, far more so than the average Rooney.

I hate him because he is a cheat. He dived again to gain a penalty against Middlesborough. I think that anybody caught should be banned for a few games. Three in a season and you get banned for six months.

I'm a Gooner. I'd never have him on my team. He can't score. He's a cheater and a whiner. By cheater, I mean he dives. One game, he went to kick it and totally missed. He then dove forward and rolled around in "agony". He got a free kick out of the act. Trouble was, there wasn't a defender closer than two feet from him. The referees are partly to blame for being so stupid as to fall for his antics.

We hate cheats...it's that simple.

I have a degree in law, work in education and speak three languages, so I'm no "Beer swilling council house dweller" as the above so daftly put it.
