coming from another person,without knowing that person's email address,only their first and last names? Is this at all possible?

Nope, no way. You need to know their e-mail address in order to block them.

That is impossible. The person can make up nearly any email address. A better way is to get a new address of your own, and don't tell them about it.

You can if they are not forging somebody else's email. If it says their name when you look at the "From" area, or they sign the email with their name, then you can block it in most cases. You are going to need to post additional information, however, including you email client (eg. Outlook), and your email service (eg. Bellsouth, Yahoo)
