I would like to apply for a medical course for the 2007 entry, however, I missed the ucas deadline , do you think they would consider me as a late application if I applied now or do you think i would be wasting my time applying. Any advise would be grately appreciated

Apart from how late it has been, it also depends on the universities/colleges that you are applying to. More established institutions tend to be quite strict regarding deadlines - they won't hesitate saying a clear 'no' even if it sounds rude. On the other hand, Those universities that do not feature at the top of league (nevertheless they may be very fine institutions) may be more considerate and willing to accept late applications.

In any case, you should give it a go anyway. You don't have anything to lose, after all! ;-) [except the UCAS fees, I suppose]

Good luck!

most of the ucas deadlines are up until the middle of january failing that apply through clearing after the a level results in august.
if not try ringing the university of your choice directly and asking for a meeting to discuss your options
good luck

that would depend how late you left it.
If it was by a couple of days/weeks then you just might. Any later you would risk being subject to clearing.
In clearing UCAS would just find and recommend you any places there are left in the country. If there are surplus placements in the university you aplied to then you just migth get in.
I have heard med is one of the hardest courses you could do at uni.
Good luck.
