If you are using Internet Explorer to browse the internet you can change your homepage by navigating to the Tools menu and selecting Internet Options. You will find a section called Homepage among the tabs, and you can place whatever you like there Your ISP (Verizon, AOL, ,etc.) has nothing to do with what webpages you can and cannot view, or set to your homepage. My homepage is Google.com, but Google is not an ISP.

As far as burning CDs please open another question for this with more information. It sounds like you may have uninstalled (or deleted the Icon for) your CD Burning application.

the cd's: Make sure your computer has windows media player (or a different cd writing program). If you are just writing a data cd for use in cd players that accept mp3's, you don't need a program. you can just do it in 'My Computer'. If you are writing a music cd, i have found it easiest to start in 'My Computer'. First, I paste all of the songs in the 'E' Directory. Then I highlight them all, right click, click on properties, and make sure everything will fit on the cd. After that, I say 'write files to disc', and it starts the cd writing wizard. it lets you choose between data and music cd, and when you click music cd and click next, it should bring up windows media player (if that is what you have). Then I just simply click 'Burn', and in seconds it is done.
