If you spray paint the tree it's gonna smell like spray paint for the first 3-5 years! Try spaying the tree with Lysol or Oust!

I would chop down a tree from a different forest next year if I were you.
Oh, it's a gift, eh? Maybe wrap it up in newspapers and put it in a box for a while, that's supposed to get rid of smells. Or how about baking soda, supposedly that works for carpet odors, so maybe it will work for spray paint.

Why does your Christmas tree smell like paint? Is that what it smells like if it's flocked? I would think if you left it outside for a day or something just to air it out before you set it up..that might work....

I make christmas baubles. they're somewhat time ingesting yet straightforward and so effective and considerate. purchase foam bauble shapes, beads, pins, sequins and ribbon. You thread the beads and sequins onto the pins and push them into the bauble til they're completely lined. Pin some ribbon down onto the authentic for the hanger. looks great and you could make any development or shade. good success and merry christmas.
