I don't use a commercial carpet cleaner, I use liquid Tide with bleach. It is cheaper and works great. Just follow the instructions like you would for any carpet cleaner. If you have stubborn. spots to clean put on full strength, and scrub with a scrub brush, then clean with rug shampooer, tide will not dis color rugs either...............Good Luck
