I would have to say as far as plot goes "Basic" With John Travolta.
and "Lucky # Sleven".
I like all of the DC Marvel Comic movies except for the "HULK" they messed the whole meaning of the hulk up in that movie.
I also liked the "Blade" Movies, Both "Under World" Movies.
But at the top of my list are the cat and mouse movies like "Surviving the Game" The Fugative" "U.S. Marshalls" "The Ticket" "The Game" and others

I mean if your talking about epics you would have to choose something like close encounters of the third kind or the first star wars, they were ahead of their time and the first movies of there kind not to mention people still watch them now. Sadly enough though thats more of a question of taste.

In terms of best plot...Clockstoppers, or Catch that Kid.
Clockstoppers-A boy finds his dad's watch that *freezes* time.
Catch that Kid-With the help of her two friends, a girl robs a high security bank of $250,000 to help pay for her dad's surgery. (It's better than it sounds)
